Dress for the Heat Wave

Southern Californians, remember when it was 100 degrees a
few weeks ago after just having a few gorgeously comfortable
days in the 70's? Well, that's the backdrop of this story.

My daughter, did not have enough shorts to wear for the heat
wave that we were expecting and requested we go shopping.
Not being pay day yet, and on a strict budget, I offered a trip
to our local fabric store armed with a 50% off coupon. I
purchased some fabric, thread and ruffle so that I could make
her a dress for the heat wave. This is what we came up with.
Hope it inspires someone to use coupons and try their hand
at making stuff to save $$ and meet your needs.

Just a reminder that the Mother's Day Sale is still going on at
Goya Designs and you don't have much time. Show you care
by not waiting for the last minute to purchase a gift.
