This is the only way I'll get close to a black bear. They look cute when my child and I are out of their reach.
The kimodo dragon was a favorite amongst the boys. The girls at the zoo were not impressed.
Now, I'm motivated to visit the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I haven't been there in years, and it's way funner.

Fun! You are right... San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park are WAY better. L.A. zoo is good for a quick trip to expose kids to different kinds of animals.
