I've always thought red and purple are a bold and wonderful pair. Both colors were traditionally worn by royalty, and aren't we all royalty some how? Maybe you are the Queen quilter, a baking Princess, or just a royal pain :). Any who, apparently, Crate and Barrel also thinks red and purple are a winning combo. Silver & gunmetal accents would work well with this set.
