Soon to Come

I've been busy finishing up some projects I began. I can't wait to post the pix of my recent work. Although I think that I've been picking up too many hobbies and I will need to decide what to cut out. My home isn't big enough to store all the tools of the trade that each genra calls for.

My 10 mo. contract with my recent employer is also coming to an end, so I get to spend more time with my kiddies and making more, more, more handmade items. I'm too excited.

Eli's first photo shoot & my first dress

Eli really wanted to take pictures one morning before I scurried off to work. I gave him the camera, showed him were the on button was, hoped he could figure out the rest, then looked for my belongings. My belongings don't seem to stay were I place them. I must have a secret redecorator in the house.

I could only post two of the pix he took because the others were too blurry. He doesn't know about the "action" setting yet.

He also captured the lovely mess we have on our desk/work area. Oh, yes and those lovely shoes with their soles taken out of them to my right. I didn't even bother to ask why he had done that to his shoes. Just gotta know what battles to pick, and which aren't worth any one's time and emotional energy.

This time Eli asked me to turn around for a picture. Boy, have you ever seen such a happy and willing model? My poor kid just wanted to have some morning fun.

Eli reviewed all his pix before I left. The pictures of me were actually not meant to be of me at all, they were of my first handmade dress. He proceeded to remind me, as I headed out the door to tell everyone at work that I made the dress.

When I got home from work, guess what was his first question.

Did you tell everyone you made your dress?

Now, why can't he use that good memory to master what is 7 x 8.

Dex Graduated Obedience Class

I forgot to take my camera to Dexter's last class, but Dex showed off his skills

for a home photo shoot. Here "V" was giving him the "watch me" command.

This time a combination of commands were given,

"down", "watch me" and "stay". Dex did good.

This was just before "V" gave Dex the "come here" command. Boy is he ready to get that liver treat.

The pix below just made me laugh:
